Job Description

Looking for an experienced OSP Engineers to support the design, planning, and engineering of advanced fiber optic network deployments across multiple markets. If you enjoy solving complex network challenges, designing scalable fiber infrastructure, and working with cutting-edge telecommunications technologies, we'd love to hear from you. Involved in construction and you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of fiber network construction projects from concept through completion. Design OSP fiber routes and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end deployment of fiber optic network construction projects.Manage engineering firms, construction contractors, and external vendors.Review project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Develop construction drawings and engineering packages.Create fiber assignments, splicing plans, and route documentation.Support permitting and utility coordination efforts.Perform capacity planning and network analysis.Collaborate with construction teams during deployment.Maintain GIS records and as-built documentation.Ensure designs comply with industry and company standards.3+ years of OSP engineering or fiber network design experience.Experience designing FTTH, FTTX, Metro, or Backbone Fiber networks.Knowledge of fiber routing, allocation, and splicing concepts.Understanding of aerial and underground network design.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Coordinate permitting, construction activities, and project execution.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.Track project progress and provide stakeholder updates.Support network acceptance, testing, and operational handoff.Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management teams.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in OSP fiber construction, telecommunications, or network deployment.Strong understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure.Experience managing contractors, vendors, and construction activities.Knowledge of aerial and underground fiber deployment practices.Understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and construction processes.Strong project coordination and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project scheduling tools.
