We are looking for a motivated Fiber Engineer to join our growing telecommunications team. This role supports fiber optic network deployment projects across multiple regions, with a strong focus on fiber testing, quality assurance, and network verification. The position offers hands-on field experience, regular travel to project sites, and excellent opportunities for learning and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to assigned project sites within your regional territory.Perform fiber optic testing on newly installed and existing networks.Conduct OTDR testing and trace analysis to identify faults and signal loss.Verify network performance against project specifications and quality standards.Support ISP and OSP network activities, including testing and handover.Assist with building entry, fiber termination, and internal connectivity.Review technical drawings, network documentation, and field data.Maintain accurate testing records and project documentation.Communicate findings and progress updates with project teams and stakeholders.Required Skills & Experience
Basic knowledge of fiber optics, telecommunications, or cabling systems.Understanding of fiber testing principles; OTDR experience is desirable but not essential.Ability to interpret technical documentation and network diagrams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to travel regularly to project locations.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.Desirable Skills
