We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector to join a cutting-edge manufacturing site specialising in large-scale aerospace components, including complex 7-axis machines and large fan cases (up to 3 metres in diameter).
📍 Location: Ansty
📅 Contract: 12 months
🕒 Shifts: 3-shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am)
📈 Hours: 37 per week
📑 Clearance: BPSS required
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect aerospace components using visual and dimensional techniques.
Operate and monitor large CNC machinery (3, 5, and 7-axis).
Ensure high-quality standards and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Support production by evaluating component quality and machine output.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain process integrity.
Experience & Skills Required:Time-served modern apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Strong experience with Siemens controls and CNC machines.
Background in turning and milling (grinding not required).
Aerospace experience preferred (but open to backgrounds like automotive, F1, or heavy engineering).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform complex inspections.
