We're hiring an Datacenter Technician to support live data center operations. You'll handle rack installations, fiber/copper cabling, testing, validation, and break-fix support. This role includes an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall racks, cabinets, network/server equipment, and fiber/copper cablingTest and certify fiber and copper links (including OTDR when required)Verify builds against drawings, rack elevations, and MOPsTroubleshoot and resolve physical layer and hardware issuesSupport migrations, upgrades, decommissions, and customer handoversParticipate in on-call support and document all work performedRequirementsExperience working in live data center environmentsStrong rack & stack and structured cabling experienceHands-on fiber and copper installation/testing skillsExperience with fiber inspection, cleaning, and power meter testingAbility to read drawings, rack elevations, and MOPsStrong troubleshooting and documentation skillsWillingness to join an on-call rotationNice to HaveOTDR testing and fiber splicing experienceHigh-density fiber environment experienceNetwork/server hardware break-fix experienceBICSI, CFOT, or similar certificationsWorking ConditionsHands-on onsite role involving equipment handling and work within racks/cabinets. Some after-hours maintenance and occasional travel may be required.
