The Project Manager - Commercialization (PCM) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of product commercialization initiatives within the organization. This role plays a critical part in executing strategic projects across the North America portfolio, ensuring successful product launches and changes from concept through post-launch review.
The PCM drives cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills are essential to align stakeholders and deliver market success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end commercialization projects, from ideation and development to market launch and post-launch evaluationDrive the stage-gate process, ensuring timely decisions on project progression, risks, and mitigation strategiesManage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet business expectationsCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teamsIdentify, assess, and communicate project risks to leadership; develop mitigation plans to address challengesTrack key performance metrics and monitor project progress, making data-driven adjustments where requiredLead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomesEnsure operational, technical, and quality standards are maintained throughout the commercialization processFoster continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and speed-to-marketInfluence stakeholders and negotiate effectively to achieve aligned project outcomesRequired Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing projects, preferably in product commercializationProven experience in product development and commercialization, ideally within CPG or food & beverage industriesPMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferredStrong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skillsExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachSolid business acumen and understanding of brand and category strategiesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvementGCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
