IT Service Transition Manager
Contract
We're looking for an experienced IT Service Transition Manager to lead the seamless deployment of new and changed IT services into production. This role bridges the gap between project delivery and operational support, ensuring readiness, stability, and minimal disruption to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage service transition processes aligned with ITIL best practices (Change, Release, SACM, Validation & Testing).
* Define SLAs, incident processes, and ensure architecture supports service delivery.
* Coordinate release and deployment activities across technical and business teams.
* Oversee operational readiness, including monitoring, alerting, and backup procedures.
* Act as the primary contact for transition activities, managing risks and stakeholder communications.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven background in IT Service Transition, Release Management.
* ITIL Foundation (mandatory); advanced ITIL certifications desirable.
* Strong understanding of SDLC and DevOps principles.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy).
