Contract IAM Engineer (Entra ID / Azure AD)

We're looking for an experienced Identity & Access Management Engineer to support an engagement focused on strengthening and simplifying our Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environment.

You'll lead a targeted review across Conditional Access, SSO integrations, guest access, and Key Vault usage - identifying risks, overlaps, and opportunities to streamline configuration. The ideal person can combine hands-on technical depth with the ability to explain Entra ID concepts clearly to non-specialists.

Key Deliverables

Conditional Access: Audit and rationalise CA policies; recommend a simplified, risk-tiered model.SSO Integrations: Review SAML/OIDC/OAuth configurations; standardise onboarding and lifecycle.Guest & External Access: Assess B2B settings and governance of external users.Non-Human Identities & Key Vault: Inventory service principals and app registrations; assess Key Vault access controls and secret rotation.Authentication & MFA: Strengthen MFA coverage and retire weak authentication methods.Monitoring & Governance: Review Entra ID Protection, Sentinel logging, and documentation hygiene.

Requirements

Strong experience with Entra ID / Azure AD, Conditional Access, and SSO.Familiarity with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and PIM.Excellent communication skills - able to present findings and explain risk to non-technical audiences.

This is a hands-on, high-impact contract ideal for a seasoned Entra ID professional who can assess, document, and recommend improvements within a focused window.

Overview:
Our client, a leading organisation in the Insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement across a strategic IGA programme, with a focus on Saviynt and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD Identity Governance).

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with security, identity, and application teams to gather and document detailed IGA requirements.

Analyse current identity and access management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into clear functional requirements.

Support the implementation and optimisation of Saviynt and Entra ID tooling across the organisation.

Facilitate workshops, conduct gap analyses, and define user journeys and governance workflows.

Collaborate with project managers and solution architects to ensure alignment across delivery workstreams.

Essential Experience:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within identity, access management, or broader cyber security domains.

Strong working knowledge of IGA frameworks and lifecycle management processes.

Hands-on experience working with Saviynt - ideally including configuration, access reviews, and role-based access controls.

Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and its governance capabilities (e.g., access packages, entitlement management, PIM).

Experience working on enterprise-scale IAM or IGA transformation projects.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence across technical and business teams.

Overview:
We are seeking up to two experienced Test Analysts to support a critical programme running until the end of 2025. One of these roles will specifically focus on Identity and Access Management (IdAM) testing.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme, working alongside project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful testing of complex solutions.

General Responsibilities:

Develop detailed test scripts aligned with business and technical specifications

Maintain traceability between test cases and source requirements to ensure auditability and complete test coverage

Execute hands-on testing activities across System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Use Jira (or similar tool) to log test progress, raise and manage defects, and report daily status to the Test Lead

Work closely with business users during UAT to validate scenarios and document test evidence

Contribute to key testing documentation, including execution summaries and the final Test Closure Report

Provide structured support to Project Managers and Test Leads throughout the testing lifecycle

IdAM Test Analyst

In addition to the above responsibilities, the IdAM Test Analyst must have proven experience testing Identity and Access Management (IdAM) systems. This includes the ability to validate:

User Authentication: Login/logout flows, password policies, MFA, and account lockout

User Authorisation: Correct access levels and permissions based on defined roles

Privileged Access Management (PAM): Enforcing access controls and preventing unauthorised access

Role Management: Creating, editing, and deleting user roles and their associated permissions

Policy Enforcement: Testing correct application of access policies under varied conditions

Experience with IdAM tools is highly desirable, including (but not limited to):
