GCS are partnering with a leading consultancy to deliver Identity & Access Management (IAM) architecture support for one of their key enterprise clients in Dublin. We're seeking an experienced IAM Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising the client's identity strategy, architecture, and governance model.
This is a 6-month daily rate contract with hybrid working (2 days onsite in Dublin), ideally suited to someone with strong hands-on architecture experience in IAM technologies, particularly in Azure AD / Entra ID environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement IAM architecture and strategy across cloud and on-premises systems.
Lead technical design and architectural decisions for IAM solutions in large enterprise environments.
Work with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure proper access controls and policies are implemented.
Define and maintain IAM standards, patterns, and guidelines.
Provide subject matter expertise on authentication, federation, identity lifecycle, and access governance.
Support the rollout of Privileged Access Management (PAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Single Sign-On (SSO) frameworks.
Conduct gap analysis of current IAM posture and propose solutions for improvement.
Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders on IAM best practices, compliance, and risk management.
Skills & Experience5+ years' experience in IAM Architecture or Security Architecture roles.
Proven experience designing and implementing IAM solutions in large-scale environments.
Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO, MFA, RBAC, conditional access, and identity lifecycle.
Experience with tools such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity or similar is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working within consultancy or client-facing project delivery environments is a strong advantage.
