We are seeking an experienced HRIS Project Specialist to lead the end-to-end implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role is pivotal in shaping the digital future of HR for the organisation. The successful candidate will be a hands-on project leader with a proven track record of delivering HRIS solutions from concept through to go-live. This is a 12-month contract based onsite with an option for hybrid working. You will work closely with HR, IT, and stakeholders across the business to ensure timely delivery and effective integration of the new system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will own and drive the full lifecycle of the HRIS project, including requirements gathering, system selection, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

You will serve as the project lead, managing timelines, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure delivery is on time and within scope.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (HR, IT, Finance, Operations) and external vendors to define, map, and optimise HR processes aligned to best practice and system capability.

You will lead data migration and cleansing efforts, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.

You will develop and execute change management and communication plans to support adoption across the organisation.

You will create and deliver tailored training programmes and user guides for HR, managers, and employees.

You will configure the system in alignment with HR policies, reporting needs, security roles, and workflow requirements.

You will act as the primary liaison with the HRIS vendor, managing configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement requests.

You will provide hands-on post-implementation support, including issue resolution, continuous improvement, and user feedback gathering.

You will promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments to embed system usage and support HR digital transformation.

KEY ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE

You will have a proven track record of leading full HRIS implementation projects, preferably in a standalone or lead role.

You will possess strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

You will have experience mapping and redesigning HR processes to align with new system capabilities.

You will demonstrate excellent data handling, migration, and integrity assurance skills.

You will have strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.

You will be highly proficient in Excel and other data tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You will have the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly guidance and training.
