Contract | Full Stack Developer | Workday Extend | JavaScript / TypeScript | APIs | Integrations
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Workday Developer to join a major transformation programme on a contract basis.
This is a hands-on development role requiring strong full stack engineering experience combined with practical knowledge of the Workday ecosystem, particularly Workday Extend. You will be responsible for building applications and integrations that extend Workday functionality and connect with wider enterprise systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and enhance applications using Workday ExtendBuild modern front-end functionality using JavaScript / TypeScript and related web technologiesDevelop backend services, APIs and integration componentsIntegrate Workday with internal and third-party enterprise platformsWork with REST / SOAP APIs, JSON and web servicesDevelop solutions around Workday business processes and dataTroubleshoot application, integration and performance issuesWork closely with Workday functional teams, architects and wider engineering teamsContribute to CI/CD, testing, code quality and engineering best practicesKey SkillsStrong commercial Full Stack Development backgroundHands-on Workday Extend development experienceGood understanding of the wider Workday platformStrong JavaScript / TypeScript and web development skillsExperience developing and consuming REST APIs / web servicesExperience building integrations between Workday and external systemsUnderstanding of authentication, security and enterprise integration patternsStrong software engineering and problem-solving skillsComfortable working within Agile delivery environmentsDesirableWorkday Integration experienceWorkday Studio / EIB / Core Connectors experienceWorkday REST and SOAP API experienceExperience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworksCloud and CI/CD experienceThis is an excellent opportunity for a strong Full Stack Engineer with Workday Extend experience to work on a high-profile enterprise programme delivering new applications and integrations across the Workday ecosystem.
