Python Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: London / Hybrid

We're looking for a Python Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clients, solving complex technical problems and turning ideas into production-ready solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working across software development, cloud platforms, data, and stakeholder engagement.

What you'll be doingBuilding and deploying Python-based applications and services in customer environments.Working closely with stakeholders to understand business problems and rapidly deliver solutions.Designing APIs, integrations, automation workflows and cloud-native platforms.Troubleshooting production issues and improving performance, reliability and scalability.Collaborating with product, engineering and client teams to drive successful outcomes.What we're looking forStrong Python development experience (FastAPI, Flask or Django).Experience building scalable APIs and backend services.Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.Strong SQL and data integration skills.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and taking ownership of delivery.DesirableExperience with AI/LLM applications, agentic AI or RAG solutions.Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation).Experience in consulting, professional services or customer-facing engineering roles.Why apply?Work on high-impact projects solving real business challenges.Exposure to modern cloud, platform engineering and AI technologies.Significant autonomy and ownership.Fast-paced environment with excellent career progression opportunities.
