ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join a fast-growing tech team focused on AI platform development. In this role, you will help build the intelligent core of our AI systems by designing autonomous agents that perceive, reason, and learn in complex environments.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a collaborative and innovative engineer with deep expertise in agentic architectures and applied machine learning. You should be able to work across disciplines, communicate complex AI concepts to diverse audiences, and contribute to a culture of experimentation and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement autonomous AI agents capable of perception, reasoning, and learning.Develop and optimise agent architectures using LLMs, vector databases, and symbolic reasoning engines.Apply advanced RAG techniques, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning to improve agent performance.Integrate knowledge graphs and multi-modal capabilities for adaptive, context-aware agent behaviour.Build evaluation frameworks, A/B testing pipelines, and model versioning systems.Collaborate with platform, data, and product teams to ensure smooth deployment and continuous improvement of AI systems.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience in applied AI/ML, with experience building intelligent systems and autonomous agents.Hands-on experience with LLMs including fine-tuning, RAG techniques, and prompt engineering.Experience with agent frameworks Experience with model evaluation, A/B testing, and versioning for AI models.Understanding of multi-modal LLM capabilities and responsible AI practices.Familiarity with explainable AI (XAI) and responsible AI toolkits.
