Duration: 12 month rolling day rate contract 600-700 per day
Location: Dublin
Onsite Requirement: 3 to 4 days onsite per week
Summary of Role
We're looking for an experienced Information Security Programme Manager to lead and deliver a broad range of cyber security initiatives within a growing organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive security improvements, strengthen governance, manage security risks, and support major technology change programmes.
You'll work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure security remains a core part of the organisation's strategy and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead information security projects and programmes from planning through to delivery.Improve and mature the organisation's security operating model.Oversee security technologies and processes across endpoint, cloud, identity, and vulnerability management.Support security architecture reviews and risk assessments for new projects and systems.Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.Manage security audits, compliance activities, and risk reporting.Lead the response to security incidents and drive continuous improvement.Support data protection and information governance initiatives.Deliver clear security reporting and updates to senior management.Increase security awareness across the organisation through training and engagement.Experience Required
Strong background in information security, cyber security, or security programme management.Experience delivering security projects in complex environments.Good understanding of security governance, risk management, and compliance.Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.Experience with Microsoft security technologies and cloud-based environments.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.Experience working with security operations, incident response, or security tooling would be beneficial.Desirable Certifications

Own and develop the enterprise-wide Threat & Vulnerability Management programme, including strategy, governance, processes, and performance reporting.Oversee the full vulnerability lifecycle, ensuring security exposures are identified, assessed, prioritised, and remediated appropriately.Lead governance forums and remediation reviews, driving accountability across technology and business teams.Establish meaningful KPIs, service metrics, and executive-level reporting to measure programme effectiveness and security posture.Act as the organisational subject matter expert for Qualys, ensuring effective utilisation of scanning, asset visibility, reporting, and remediation capabilities.Improve platform integrations, automation opportunities, and reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency.Partner with infrastructure, cloud, engineering, and security teams to improve vulnerability management maturity across the organisation.Coordinate response activities for critical vulnerabilities and emerging threats, ensuring timely escalation and risk management.Support audit, compliance, and regulatory activities by maintaining appropriate governance controls and evidence.Drive continual improvement initiatives that strengthen cyber resilience and reduce enterprise security risk.Experience and Skills Required
Significant experience within cyber security, vulnerability management, security operations, or security engineering environments.Proven track record leading or managing enterprise-scale Threat & Vulnerability Management programmes.Strong hands-on experience with Qualys, including vulnerability management, asset discovery, reporting, compliance monitoring, and cloud agent deployment.
