An Irish organisation is looking for an experienced Cloud & Security Engineer to support and enhance its Microsoft cloud and security environment.
You'll play a key role across cloud infrastructure, identity, endpoint security and incident response while helping to strengthen security posture and modernise IT operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)Administer Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender XDRMonitor and investigate security events using Microsoft SentinelSecure Azure environments using Zero Trust principlesProvide Level 3 support and technical leadershipSupport ITIL processes including Incident, Change and Problem ManagementProduce technical documentation, runbooks and operational proceduresWhat You'll NeedStrong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft security technologiesHands-on expertise with Entra ID, Intune, Defender XDR and SentinelExperience with security incident response and identity & access managementExcellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skillsAZ-500 certification is essential (SC-200, SC-300 and/or MD-102 also highly desirable)If you're looking for a long-term contract working with modern Microsoft cloud and security technologies, we'd be happy to tell you more.

Application Security Engineer
You'll join a centralised Application Security team responsible for managing the full lifecycle of security findings reported by customers, internal teams, and third‑party testers.
You'll triage real‑world vulnerability reports, reproduce issues in controlled environments, analyse platform‑level attack surfaces, and collaborate with engineering teams to validate fixes and guide remediation.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Validate vunerabilities, assess scope and impact, determine severity, and recommend remediation paths.vulnerabilities across web, API, and server-side components and privilege escalation.Produce clear, accurate security assessments suitable for both engineering teams and executive level.Partner with development teams on defect filing, patch validation, backport decisions, and fix completeness.Recreate customer scenarios in lab environments to verify reported vulnerabilities and confirm remediation.Review server-side and client-side code to trace attack vectors and validate security fixes.Desired Experience
Relevant eperience in application security, penetration testing, bug bounty triage, or product security engineering.Strong working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and modern attack classesAbility to read and trace JavaScript and Java codebases to identify vulnerabilities and validate fixes.Experience writing clear, technically accurate security reports for diverse audiences.Fluency in CVSS scoring, including rationale behind severity decisions.

Cloud Security Engineer
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to support the security of our clients cloud platforms and modern infrastructure environments. This role will work closely with technology and engineering teams to help identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while promoting security best practices across cloud-native and containerised environments.
The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in information security, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous learning in cloud and infrastructure security.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls across cloud environments.Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to enhance the security of cloud-based services and platforms.Assist in securing containerized and Kubernetes-based workloads through the application of industry best practices.Participate in security assessments, risk reviews, vulnerability management, and remediation activities.Contribute to the development and automation of security processes and controls.Support secure deployment practices and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
Desired Experience
Experience working in information security, cybersecurity, cloud security, or a related field.Exposure to container technologies and orchestration platforms.Understanding of common cloud and infrastructure security principles and controls.Experience with scripting, automation, or infrastructure-as-code tools is beneficial.Knowledge of security standards, frameworks, or best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, or equivalent.
