About the Role
A leading FinTech provider is modernising its global cloud footprint and requires a Cloud Security Architect to design, implement, and govern cloud security standards across multi‑cloud estates. You will be the senior technical authority shaping how secure‑by‑design cloud services are built.
Key Responsibilities
Design secure architectures across AWS and Azure for high‑volume financial services.Define IaC security standards, encryption baselines, and identity patterns.Lead threat modelling, architectural risk assessments, and cloud posture reviews.Support engineering teams with secure build patterns, guardrails, and security automation.Act as a technical SME for cloud security governance and architectural boards.Skills & Experience

This role focuses on ensuring cloud‑hosted services meet mandatory security controls before moving into production. You'll act as a senior cloud security specialist, providing assurance, consultancy, and oversight across complex multi‑cloud environments.
What you'll be doing:
Executing Cloud Security Assessment reviews for cloud‑hosted services and managing reviews raisedProviding cloud security consultancy to engineering and application teams, supporting secure design and smooth transition into production.Assessing and applying cloud security controls, ensuring alignment with HSBC standards and regulatory expectations.Driving continuous improvement across assessment processes, including automation, data‑driven insights, and capability uplift.Must have:

We need Splunk Specialist to lead end‑to‑end Splunk ES engagements for enterprise clients. This is a delivery first contract role, designing detections, tuning alerts, and building dashboards that SOC teams actually use.
You'll sit inside a modern Security Practice covering MDR, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Pen Testing and Security Advisory, working on meaningful security problems - not BAU dashboard babysitting.
What You'll Do
* Design and deliver Splunk ES from requirements to production
* Build high-quality detections, correlation searches and risk-based alerting
* Write sharp SPL for threat detection and hunting
* Map detections to MITRE ATT&CK
* Onboard, normalise and enrich logs across Windows and Linux
* Create clear, operational dashboards for SOC teams
* Support automation and orchestration initiatives (SOAR exposure a plus)
* Use Python and PowerShell to automate and enrich workflows
* Work closely with SOC, IR and engineering teams
* Coach junior engineers when needed - no people management fluff
