We're looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to help drive the transformation of critical infrastructure services into a modern, cloud-native environment.

This role sits at the heart of a large-scale infrastructure modernisation programme, supporting the redesign, migration and operation of foundational platform services across public cloud environments.

You'll work on highly available, business-critical services while helping shape the future cloud operating model through automation, containerisation and infrastructure-as-code practices.

What You'll Be DoingLead the architecture and modernisation of core infrastructure services within cloud-native environmentsDesign and implement production-grade Kubernetes platforms across AWS, Azure and/or GCPDrive infrastructure automation using Terraform and modern IaC practicesDesign multi-cloud infrastructure patterns and service networking solutionsSupport migration initiatives from traditional virtualised environments towards cloud-native platformsBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies and operational toolingPartner with engineering teams to improve resilience, scalability and platform reliabilityChampion an "everything-as-code" approach across infrastructure and operationsWhat We're Looking ForEssentialStrong experience architecting and operating Kubernetes platforms in productionDeep understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code toolingStrong Linux systems engineering backgroundExperience with Docker and container ecosystem technologiesUnderstanding of cloud networking, service discovery and platform securityExperience building automated deployment and operational workflowsDevelopment experience in Go, Python or similar languagesNice To HaveCrossplane experiencePlatform Engineering experienceSRE or Reliability Engineering backgroundExperience supporting critical shared services at scaleExposure to infrastructure modernisation or datacentre transformation programmesBackground7+ years within Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, SRE or Cloud Architecture rolesProven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformationsExperience leading architectural decisions and migration programmesWhy This Role?
