About the RoleWe're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong AWS experience to help design, build, automate and support enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure. You'll work on Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, compute and storage platforms, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and working with modern cloud technologies in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services.Develop, deploy and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.Troubleshoot and optimize cloud compute, storage and networking environments.Develop automation tools and scripts to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.Support cloud-based infrastructure, operating systems, networking, databases and related technology platforms.Investigate infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.Work closely with engineering teams to improve platform performance, scalability and reliability.Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud environments.Strong understanding of networking concepts across on-premises and cloud environments.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar).Strong troubleshooting experience across AWS compute, storage and networking services.Experience managing cloud infrastructure in production environments at scale.Knowledge of Linux or Windows server administration.Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.3-5+ years of relevant Systems Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Engineering experience.Nice to HaveAWS certifications.Experience with automation and scripting.Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.EducationBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Infrastructure, Networking or a related field. AWS certifications are an advantage.
