Cloud / Infrastructure Automation Engineer

We're looking for an engineer with a strong infrastructure and automation background to help deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production software systems across virtual and cloud environments.

This role combines cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, containerization, systems operations, and software troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement technical products and systems

Support application deployment across virtual and cloud infrastructure

Automate deployment and infrastructure processes

Troubleshoot and resolve production software issues

Develop monitoring solutions and perform software maintenance

Implement solutions that improve system and product quality

Develop standards and procedures around product quality and release readiness

Make recommendations related to testing techniques and operational processes

Support continuous delivery in partnership with QA and Software Engineering

Manage applications and infrastructure using automation and scripting

Work with deployment and network operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related area

3-6 years of relevant professional experience

Experience with cloud or virtual infrastructure

AWS and OpenStack preferred

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience automating deployments with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Experience with Jenkins/continuous integration

Strong experience with GitHub, including branching and tagging strategies

Strong scripting and coding capabilities

Experience with systems and IT operations

Ability to work with a broad range of open-source technologies and tools

Strong collaboration skills with QA and Software Engineering teams

Candidates with backgrounds in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, DevOps, systems engineering, or deployment engineering are encouraged to apply.
