Role:

Guiding the technical direction and execution for a multi-environment runtime platform.Designing and operating a robust, global platform to support a major SaaS initiative.Requires significant expertise in container orchestration (like Kubernetes) and public/private cloud infrastructure.Leading and fostering growth within a sizable team of platform specialists.Implementing DevOps principles, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation.Delivering a platform that adheres to relevant security and compliance standards.Working closely with product, development, and other teams.

What the Client Seeks:

Demonstrated experience leading platform engineering teams and shaping technical strategy.Extensive practical experience with major cloud providers (with a strong emphasis on one in particular), containerisation, and orchestration technologies.Ability to create scalable, resilient, and cost-optimised multi-environment solutions.A deep understanding of and commitment to Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD methodologies.Solid skills in languages such as Python or Go, and scripting in a Linux environment.Awareness of common network and security vulnerabilities.Familiarity with implementing CI/CD and GitOps workflows.Strong ability to convey technical information clearly.Capacity to identify and resolve issues, driving continuous improvement.
