Business Analyst (Power BI & Reporting) - Outside IR35 (Energy/Utilities Industry experience needed)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site in the Surrey Area
The Opportunity
My client who are well known in the Energy Industry are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join on an initial 3 month contract.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into well-defined requirements for dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse and document reporting requirements from business stakeholders.Translate a high volume of reporting requests into clear, structured requirements for developers.Work closely with business users to understand reporting needs and priorities.Support the design and delivery of Power BI dashboards and reports.Ensure requirements align with the underlying data structures and business objectives.Collaborate with developers throughout the delivery lifecycle to clarify requirements where needed.Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering reports.Strong understanding of Power BI and reporting solutions.Knowledge of dimensional data models and how reporting data is structured.Good understanding of databases.Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for technical development teams.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Hybrid working with 2 days per week on-site.
