I'm representing a key client in Cork with an exciting opportunity for an Operational Technology Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand operational and project requirements.

Design, implement, and maintain OT systems and solutions.

Work with IT, engineering, and operations teams to ensure full system integration.

Provide technical expertise on OT best practices and emerging technologies.

Stay updated with advancements in networking, cybersecurity, and industrial systems.

Skills & Experience:

Degree in a computer-related discipline (networking preferred).

Minimum 3+ years in a network support or IT/OT engineering role.

Strong working knowledge of Cisco networking and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto).

Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

Hands-on with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere/vMotion, Hyper-V.

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Full driver's licence and own car (car allowance provided).

Certifications (advantageous):

CCNP / CCDP / CCNA
