We're looking for an experienced IT Service Transition Manager to lead the seamless deployment of new and changed IT services into production. This role bridges the gap between project delivery and operational support, ensuring readiness, stability, and minimal disruption to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage service transition processes aligned with ITIL best practices (Change, Release, SACM, Validation & Testing).
* Define SLAs, incident processes, and ensure architecture supports service delivery.
* Coordinate release and deployment activities across technical and business teams.
* Oversee operational readiness, including monitoring, alerting, and backup procedures.

Skills & Experience:

The opportunity:

A leading technology services provider in Dublin is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a 12-month rolling day-rate contract (this is a long term role that will roll beyond 24 mths). This role offers a hybrid setup: 3 days per week onsite in Dublin and the remainder remote.

You will join a high-performing Professional Services team, managing complex IT infrastructure, networking and security projects for enterprise clients.

Competitive daily rate DOE.

What you will be doing in the role:

Take ownership of IT infrastructure projects from initial planning through to deployment and integration.Develop detailed project plans in collaboration with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and scope changes effectively.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues.Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery.Oversee procurement and scheduling of equipment and resources.Drive quality standards and ensure projects meet agreed objectives.

What you will need:

5+ years' experience in IT Infrastructure project management.Strong understanding of networking technologies (IP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VPN, cloud networking, firewalls, data centres).Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects under tight deadlines.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.Ability to work onsite in Dublin 3 days per week and hold a full, clean driver's license.

Desirable:

Degree in engineering or a related discipline.Experience with data centre deployments and enterprise-grade hardware.Familiarity with low-level design documentation and vendor management.

Supporting users and writing operation documents including User Helps (manuals) will also be required.As well as application development, this role will also include all aspects of system constructions and support for existing programmes which are written as WinForms (C#.NET) applications. Additional Tasks
