Duration: 6 Months Contract
Schedule: 24/7/365 Operation
We are seeking a Broadcast Control Room Operator to support television network operations and ensure uninterrupted, high-quality programming. The operator will monitor broadcasts, manage programming playlists, support live events, and act quickly when technical or programming issues occur.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with experience in Master Control, broadcast operations, television production, media operations, or production control rooms.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor live and recorded programming for quality and continuity.Verify audio, video, captions, graphics, and picture quality.Maintain and modify automated programming playlists.Execute program, commercial, and promotional changes.Support live events, special programming, and contingency workflows.Monitor channel streams and identify technical or programming inconsistencies.Ensure all content is ready for on-air playout.Manage commercial break execution.Respond to on-air discrepancies and coordinate recovery.Communicate clearly with production and operations teams.Support new system implementations and changing workflows.Operate or learn broadcast automation systems including SNELL Morpheus and Amagi.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma, Associate's Degree, relevant certification, or equivalent professional experience.Broadcast, television, media, digital, or post-production experience.Knowledge of television production and broadcast workflows.Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.Ability to make quick decisions during high-pressure situations.Excellent communication and teamwork.Strong multitasking and organizational skills.Reliable and dependable work ethic.Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and changing shifts.Must be fully onsite in Lakewood, CO.Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.Preferred: Master Control experience, Production Control Room experience, Broadcast QC, Playout, Transmission Operations, SNELL Morpheus, Amagi, or Spanish proficiency.
