Senior BI Platform Engineer - Power BI / Looker / Snowflake

We are looking for a Senior BI Platform Engineer to help support an enterprise Business Intelligence environment and a major data and reporting modernization initiative.

The team is evolving its data platform toward Snowflake and implementing modern reporting capabilities. We're looking for someone who understands how BI platforms operate within a business and can help answer the important technical questions: What needs to change? What isn't working? How should the reporting platform connect to the data? And how do we successfully implement and deploy it?

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise across enterprise Business Intelligence and reporting platforms

Implement, integrate, and deploy BI solutions in a production business environment

Work with Power BI and other enterprise BI technologies

Support Looker as part of the organization's evolving reporting environment

Troubleshoot complex reporting, data, query, and integration issues

Use SQL to investigate data issues and validate reporting results

Support data platform modernization and migration to Snowflake

Work with AWS and cloud-based data environments

Evaluate existing reporting processes and recommend technical improvements

Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Support BI platform testing, validation, releases, and production deployments

Help establish best practices around reporting, data modeling, query performance, and platform usage

Document solutions, processes, and technical standards

Collaborate with engineers, developers, data teams, and business partners

Provide knowledge transfer and support to internal teams
