Senior Digital Cloud Security Engineer GCS is looking to source a Senior Digital Cloud Security Engineer for a contract role based in Dublin (hybrid). Key Responsibilities:Design and support the implementation of robust security solutions for Azure environments.Architect secure Azure cloud infrastructure aligned with industry best practices.Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation for the cloud environment.Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.Lead initiatives to improve the organisation's overall security posture.Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations to strengthen cloud security.Ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001. Desired Skills & Experience:Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly cloud security tools and architecture.Deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite, Entra (PIM, Conditional Access), and Azure BastioExperience with DevSecOps approaches and integration of security tools into automated pipelinesSolid understanding of cloud network security, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
