Role: AWS & Azure System Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Experience: 3-5+ years
DutiesWith Public Cloud experience and expertise (AWS, Azure), designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs infrastructure as code, software defined compute & storage implementation, and software programs for enhancements and new products. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
SkillsHands-on working experience with Public Cloud platforms: AWS, AzureNetworking understanding, both on-premises and Public Cloud environmentsInfrastructure as Code (IaC), hands-on working experience deploying, managing, supporting, and debuggingDeep technical knowledge of troubleshooting compute & storage infrastructure within Public Cloud (AWS, Azure)Managing services running in Public Cloud at scale across regional and global environmentsWorking within SPRINT / Agile models with daily stand-ups and weekly SPRINT processes (SCRUM, etc.)3-5 years of experience with the above skill areasHybrid working with an expectation of 2 days per week in the officeEducationReal-world work experience with AWS and Azure. Public Cloud certifications, Systems Engineering, Networking, Infrastructure, AI, or related degrees and studies. Associate's and/or 4-year degree or higher.
