Enterprise BI Platforms team supports the organization's strategic analytics ecosystem, including Looker, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, and other enterprise BI technologies used across multiple business units.
Following a recent ownership transition, the team is seeking a hands-on Senior Looker Administrator to provide deep platform expertise, stabilize operations, lead overdue upgrades, support new API and AI-driven initiatives, and help establish long-term best practices for the Looker environment. This is a platform administration role focused on enterprise-scale Looker support and governance. It is not a Looker Developer or BI Analyst position.
Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise Looker platform
Lead platform upgrades, patching, maintenance, and release activities
Provide advanced L3/L4 production support and troubleshooting
Manage platform performance, stability, and operational health
Support disaster recovery planning and environment management
Administer user access, permissions, governance, and Azure AD integrations
Support Looker APIs and platform integrations for emerging AI and automation use cases
Manage GitHub-based workflows and LookML deployment processes
Partner with internal teams on platform modernization initiatives
