Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's technical team. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support, manage complex infrastructure issues, and deliver solutions across a Microsoft-focused environment.
You will act as a senior escalation point for infrastructure incidents, ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 3rd line technical support and escalation for complex infrastructure issues.Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across Microsoft technologies.Manage and support Microsoft 365 (O365) environments, including user services, administration, and troubleshooting.Support and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management, configuration, and compliance.Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, permissions, and authentication issues.Support Windows server and enterprise infrastructure environments.Assist with infrastructure improvements, upgrades, migrations, and project-based work.Maintain security best practices and ensure systems meet business requirements.Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience working in a 3rd Line Infrastructure / Senior Support Engineer role.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including:Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administrationMicrosoft IntuneActive DirectoryGroup PolicyWindows Server environmentsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Experience supporting enterprise users and complex IT environments.Ability to manage incidents, problems, and changes effectively.Desirable Skills
Experience with Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.Experience with endpoint security and device compliance solutions.Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.GCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
