Gloria Semme - Engineering Manager, Production Engineering - SoundCloud Implementing SRE Site reliability engineering (SRE) is a discipline (coined by Google) that incorporates aspects of software engineering and applies them to infrastructure and operations problems. The discipline seems to be working for large corporations, but are the practices also applicable for smaller organizations? In this short talk I would like to introduce how SoundCloud implements SRE practices in an environment with few engineers and many services. Q&A included at the end. Gloria currently leads the SRE Team at SoundCloud. She is passionate about distributed systems, data-intensive applications, and everything at scale.
