Senior Principal Business Development
Responsible for driving company acceptance growth, through a direct to merchant sales approach, in key verticals within the UK. The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engagement with merchants to drive acceptance take-up, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed & is delivering key KPI's in acceptance. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Responsibilities:
Identifies leads, develops proposals, responds to RFP's and negotiates agreements direct to UK merchants, to maximize network acceptance. Strong negotiation skills to close deals. Strategically identifies and creates innovative business cases to win new merchant acceptance deals with internal stakeholder buy-in (Pricing, Risk, AML, etc...). Collaborate with internal teams and gather feedback from customers or prospects to identify, develop, and implement new sales opportunities. Develop strong relationships to maintain and grow account relationships with internal and external partners to meet volume and revenue goals. Participate in industry exhibitions and conferences.
