We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Infra Ops Engineer to join our technology team. You will play a critical role in managing and enhancing IT infrastructure, ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of both on-premise and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Type: Permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage.

Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance.

Apply and maintain security controls, in alignment with InfoSec policies and audit requirements.

Lead and execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.

Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell or equivalent scripting tools.

Provide support for escalated technical issues and collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers.

Requirements:

2+ years in a Senior Systems Admin or similar TechOps/Infrastructure role.

Strong Windows Server knowledge; exposure to Linux environments a plus.

Experience working with EntraID, Azure, AWS, or GCP and virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

Solid understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs).

Proficiency in scripting/automation using PowerShell.

Understanding of cybersecurity tools and processes (firewalls, VPNs, patching).

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Nice to Have:

Microsoft, Azure or AWS certifications.

Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes).

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Zabbix).
